Bathroom Origins supplies to first ever Tom Dixon-designed hotel

Bathroom Origins has supplied more than 200 Urban Steel toilet brushes to the Mondrian London hotel, which has been designed by Tom Dixon-led Design Research Studio.

A redevelopment of the Sea Containers House located between the Oxo Tower and Blackfriars Bridge, the Mondrian is set to open later this year and is the first hotel Dixon's studio has designed for.

Intended to 'embody the elegance of a transatlantic 1920s ocean liner', the 360-bedroom hotel's marine-influenced design brief led to Bathroom Origins' Urban Steel toilet brush being specified for the project.

Sales director at the Essex-based distributor and KBBDaily.com blogger Sofia Charalambous commented: “We're delighted that our products will feature in this iconic building and our Urban Steel toilet brush embodies the look and feel that the Design Research Studio want to create.”

Bathroom Origins products have been specified for numerous hotel projects, such as the renovation of Scotland's oldest inn, the Kenmore Hotel.
